With over a decades experience in selling and supporting Reliability software, Trident today offers a cost effective turnkey solution on Reliability Services. We cover the entire life cycle of the product, starting from concept to phase off. This helps in improved product design and also meets the compliance requirements to many of the industries rigorous standards.

We have a well-qualified Reliability Services team, with engineers certified by TUV Rheinland and STQC, ably guided by an industry veteran with 30 years experience in Reliability Engineering for Safety and Mission Critical projects.
Our current activity covers requirements in Defense, Aerospace, Nuclear and Transportation segments.
We provide Reliability Study Services for :
- Basic Prediction / RBD
We provide everything necessary for primary reliability prediction (MTBF- Mean Time Between Failures) based on one of the prediction analysis for electronic equipments (MIL-HDBK-217, Telcordia, British Telecom, UTEC 80-810, ItalTel, etc.), mechanical and electro-mechanical equipments (NPRD-95, NSWC-98 for mechanical equipment, etc). We support more than 30 reliability standards for reliability analysis.
Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) is for functional Reliability and Availability analysis of systems with various reliability distributions and includes all types of redundancy and repair factors.
- FTA
Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) serves to analyze the root cause of the potential failure of your system using Logical gates. Using FTA analysis we can perform Calculation of Unavailability, Mean Unavailability and Minimal Cut Sets. Calculation of Importance and Sensitivity Calculation of Frequency, Intensity, Uncertainty.
- FMEA/FMECA
Perform Process/Design potential Failure Mode and Effects Analysis based on MIL-STD-1629 Standard
- Maintainability
Maintainability Prediction is based on the approaches of MIL-HDBK-472, Procedure 5, Method-A. This Method can be used to predict maintainability of systems and equipment of any type, including avionics, ground and shipboard electronics, mechanical equipment, etc., at the Organizational, Intermediate and Depot levels of maintenance.
- Spare Parts Optimization
Optimization of spare parts for the required Non-Shortage Probability (NSP)
• Optimization using two criteria - cost function (price, weight, volume) and Availability/Non Shortage probability
- System Safety Analysis
Safety Module is planned to evolve into a comprehensive safety toolkit implementing safety tasks defined in the various safety assessment standards/guidelines as per SAE APR4761 and MIL STD 882. IEC 61508 - Safety Standard for Safety Instrumented Systems involves a systematic approach to Life Cycle Safety of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). It is concerned specifically with Electrical/Electronic/Programmable Electronic Safety-Related Systems (E/E/PESs). IEC 61508 provides guidelines to classify these systems by Safety Integrity Levels (SIL levels). (Functional Hazard Analysis / Primarily Hazard Analysis / System Hazard Analysis etc) and ending by the System Safety Assessment (SSA) and Safety Assessment Results Summary verifying that the design meets safety requirements.
